  • Attrappe: Reality and cheat in photography. This series is a work about dummies and veneers. I made these photos in different spaces, the spaces are furniture shops, stages, museums and show rooms in buildings of a cityscape. My first intention was to find and create pictures which look like artificial veneers. I found a lot of objects and rooms which looked like Potemkin villages. I tried to find these Potemkin villages and I wanted to transfer this idea into other objects. With the help of photography I wanted to make a review about the reality of the objects and the photography by itself. It is on the view of the beholder to decide what is reality and what is delusion referring to the photography.
